Berlin-Brandenburg Willy Brandt Airport is Berlin's new airport, replacing Tegel and Schönefeld airports. After several years of delay, it finally opened on October 31, 2020. It is estimated that about 35 million passengers will pass through it per year. It operates with domestic and international flights within Europe, the Middle East, northern Africa and southeast Asia.

Number of Terminals - 3 - T1 (the main terminal) and T2 (for low-cost airlines), connected by pedestrian walkways. T5 (former Schönefeld airport - no operations), connected to the others in 8 minutes by S-Bahn train or in 10 min. by bus or taxi.

The airport is situated in Schönefeld, 18 km (11 miles) south from Berlin city centre.
See MapThe airport has 5 modern car parks and 3 ground-level car parks in Terminals 1 and 2. All car parks are equipped with sanitary facilities, as well as bright staircases and lifts to ensure barrier-free arrivals and departures. Luggage carts are available in parking spaces P4 and P6, as well as at all levels of the car parks. In the car parks, there are monitors with relevant information about current arrivals and departures. Parking spaces P107 are approximately 1.7 km from Terminals 1 and 2 and can be reached on foot in 20 minutes.

The uncovered and covered car parks of Terminals 1 and 2 are open 24 hours a day.
There are places reserved for people with reduced mobility in all parking lots.

The airport is fully accessible for disabled passengers.
To use the free mobility service, inform your airline, tour operator or travel agent of the scope of assistance you need at least 48 hours before departure, but preferably at the time of booking your flight. Simply indicate the degree of your mobility restriction.
The punctual registration will allow to provide the necessary resources. It should be noted that late registration may result in longer waiting times for the passenger.
