Trains
The airport is connected to the metropolitan rail network via the Aeroporto-Guarulhos station on CPTM's Line 13-Jade. Passengers reach the station via the airport's free shuttle buses connecting all three terminals in just a few minutes.
- Airport Express: A direct and semi-direct service connecting the airport station with Palmeiras-Barra Funda, stopping at Guarulhos-CECAP, Brás, and Luz. The trip takes approximately 30 to 35 minutes and operates from 5:00 am to 12:00 am (departures every hour Monday through Saturday, and every 30 minutes on Sundays).
- Line 13-Jade (Regular Service): Connects the airport station with Engenheiro Goulart Station, where transfers to Line 12-Safira allow connections across Greater São Paulo.
The standard train fare is R$ 5.40. Tickets can be purchased at station ticket counters or automated kiosks.

Buses
A comprehensive bus network departs from the arrivals level, primarily at Terminal 2.
- Airport Bus Service: Premium executive coaches with air conditioning and luggage compartments. It operates Route 258 to Congonhas Airport (CGH), Route 316 to the Hotel Circuit and Paulista Avenue, Route 472 to Barra Funda Bus Terminal, and Route 472EX1 to Tietê Bus Terminal. Boarding is located at T2 (Arrivals East), with 24-hour self-service ticketing kiosks in Terminals 2 and 3.
- Metropolitan Buses (EMTU): Economical commuter buses departing from the first curb of Terminal 2 (Arrivals West). Route 257 connects directly to Tatuapé subway station (Line 3-Red) in 30 to 40 minutes depending on road traffic, alongside Route 538 to Arujá.
- Municipal Buses (Guarupass): Local urban lines such as Route 172 to Shopping Internacional de Guarulhos, Route 331 to Cecap, and Route 488 Circular.
- Intercity and Long-Distance Buses: Operators including Lirabus and VB Transportes offer direct connections to Campinas, while other carriers serve the São Paulo coast (Santos, São Sebastião) and the Vale do Paraíba region.
Taxis and Ride Apps
Taxis: Guarucoop holds the exclusive license for official airport taxis. Service counters are situated outside the arrivals areas of all three terminals, operating with fixed tabulated fares based on your final destination.
Ride Apps: Apps such as Uber, 99, and Rhino operate at the airport. All pickups take place at the dedicated Praça Pick-Up located outside Terminal 2 (arrivals level), clearly signed from Arrivals East and West and managed by ground staff.
