Spending the night at the airport
The enclosure has three terminals that remain open 24 hours a day. Therefore, those passengers with connecting flights or departures early in the morning have the chance of spending the night inside the airport. The three buildings are connected through an express bus. Terminal 1 is the smallest, Terminal 2 is the largest, and Terminal 3 is the most modern.
Where to rest: According to passenger experiences, this is not a very comfortable airport for resting. Seating areas are scarce and most benches have armrests, so you cannot lie down. If you are in the public area, keep an eye on your belongings, as there is usually non-travellers roaming through the enclosure at night. Terminal 3 is the most comfortable for waiting. Floors are generally not carpeted, so it is useful to have a sleeping bag. Those passengers having a pass for the VIP lounges can enjoy more amenities. If your budget allows you to pay for accommodation, there is a transit hotel in Terminal 3, and in Terminal 2 there are sleeping capsules.
Baggage: There are lockers where you can leave your bags in Terminal 2 and on the ground floor of the parking garage.
Eating and drinking: All terminals have eating options that remain open throughout the night. Viena Snacks, Ballon Cafe, Quinta do Grão, Heineken, Pizza Hut and Rei do Mate.
Restrooms: Showers available inside several of the VIP lounges.
Wi-Fi: Free access for 1 hour.
Other services available around the clock: Pharmacies, ATMs, currency exchange bureaus, commercial stores and duty-free shops, baby changing facilities.
