The airport is located on the right bank of the Demerara River in the city of Timehri, 41 km (25 miles) south of Guyana's capital, Georgetown
National, Enterprise and Alamo have desks in the vicinity of the Temporary Arrivals Terminal Building [TATB]. o rent a vehicle you must first have a Temporary Drivers License which can be obtained at the Arrival's Customs Department.
