Esbjerg Airport, opened on April 4, 1971, is a small air terminal that serves the area of the city of the same name. Although it does operate with some domestic and international flights to the United Kingdom, its main use is as a heliport to the oil and gas platforms in the North Sea.

Taxi - The exclusive operator at the enclosure is Esbjerg Taxa (Tel +45 7514 4500), with vehicles outside the terminal. The trip to the city centre takes 15 minutes.
There are two car parks with covered and outdoor spaces, for short and long stays.
P1 - Fenced, located in front of the passenger terminal.
P3 - Situated next to the main building. The first 24 hours are free.
Passengers requiring special assistance or wheelchairs are advised to arrange the proper services with their airline or travel agency prior to their arrival. Children travelling alone will be escorted through the security checkpoint to the aircraft, and from the baggage reclaim area through immigration and customs.
