Spending the night at the airport
Dublin airport operates with many flights and connections, so it is frequent to see many passengers spending the night at the enclosure, waiting for the departure of their plane. The place can be pretty cold at night, so it is best to be prepared with a sleeping bag or blankets. Also, it is possible that the airport police will ask to see your passport or ticket to let you spend the night inside the terminals.
Where to rest: The most comfortable options are located landside. Food shops have seats with armrests, but you can move them around to improvise a place to sleep. In Terminal 2, you can also make use of a prayer room and the PRM room, by gates 407 and 408, which are ideal alternatives to catch some sleep. On the other hand, there are several VIP lounges inside the enclosure. The only problem is that they close at night. Inside the airport grounds, there are two hotels, and many more options in the surroundings.
Baggage: Left-luggage offices are open from 6:00 am to 7:00 pm. This means you will have to keep your bags with you until check-in.
Eating and drinking: The only options open throughout the night are located in Terminal 1.
Restrooms: Showers only inside the VIP lounges.
Wi-Fi: Free and unlimited.
Other services available around the clock: ATMs, internet kiosks, baby changing facilities, prayer rooms.
