The airport is located in the neighboring municipality of São José dos Pinhais. Travelers can reach downtown Curitiba via metropolitan public buses, ride-sharing platforms, or licensed taxis.

Ride-sharing Services

Uber and 99 provide reliable point-to-point service. Travel time to central Curitiba typically takes 30 to 35 minutes, with approximate fares ranging from R$ 35 to R$ 60 depending on demand and traffic.

Public Buses (Metropolitan)

Metropolitan buses connect the airport with the integrated transit network of Curitiba and São José dos Pinhais. Note that the direct Aeroporto Executivo shuttle service is indefinitely suspended.

Route E32: Aeroporto / Terminal Boqueirão (Ligeirinho)
The most efficient public transit option to Curitiba. It makes limited stops to Terminal Boqueirão, where riders can transfer at no additional fare to red articulated buses running directly to the downtown area. Standard urban transit fare is approximately R$ 6.00.

Route 515: Aeroporto / Terminal Central (SJP)
Connects the airport to the central bus terminal in São José dos Pinhais, primarily useful for local destinations within the municipality.

Fares and cards:
Passengers must use transit cards such as Metrocard or URBS cards, as cash is generally not accepted on board.

Schedules: Services run frequently throughout the day and decrease considerably after 11:00 p.m.

Taxis

Regulated taxi service operates 24 hours a day under the authority of São José dos Pinhais. Cabs wait at the official stand along the outer curb outside arrivals.

Location: The taxi rank is situated on the Ground Floor outside the terminal building, near the parking access.

Fares:
A trip to downtown Curitiba takes approximately 30 to 40 minutes, costing between R$ 70 and R$ 110 on the taximeter. Bandeira 2 (night and weekend/holiday surcharge) applies Monday through Friday after 8:00 p.m., Saturday afternoons, all day Sunday, and on holidays, increasing the base metered rate by approximately 20%.
