Alghero airport (AHO)

Alghero-Riviera del Corallo Airport, also known as Alghero-Fertilia Airport and opened on March, 1938, serves the island of Sardinia, in Italy. It operates with domestic flights and some important destinations in Europe.

The airport is located in the island of Sardinia, 8 km (5 miles) to the north of the city of Alghero.

Bus - ARST (Tel +39 792 639 200) operates several daily services from the enclosure. Tickets (from €1.20) can be acquired at a vending machine inside the terminal and stops are found 150 meters away from the building. Line AL.F.A. runs to Fertilia (10 minutes) and Alghero (30 min.) between 5:20 am and 11:00 pm. Route 760 travels to Sassari (around 30 min.) from 0:15 am to 11:15 pm. Service 9312 heads for Sassari, Olmedo, Alghero, Montresta and Bosa (1 hour and 15 min.) from 4:10 am to 0:40 am.
Sardabus (Tel +39 7951 0554) provides transportation to Stintino (between June and September), going through Pozzo San Nicola and Le Tonnare, with a travel time of 45 min. and a fare of €3.70.
Digitur (Tel +39 7926 2039) offers transfers to Santa Teresa di Gallura (2 hours and 30 min.) via Porto Torres, Platamona, Marina di Sorso, Eden Beach, Marritza, Castelsardo, Baia Ostina, Valledoria, Badesi, Isola Rossa, Costa Paradiso, Portobello and Vignola. It only operates from June to September.
Redentours (Tel +39 7843 0325) runs to Nuoro at 11:15 am and 11:15 pm, with a trip of 2 hours and 30 min. and a fare of €18.00. Intermediate stops include Mores, Bonorva, Macomer, Bortigali, Silanus, Bolotana and Ottana.
There are also services from Logudoro Tours (Tel +39 793 961 037) to and from Macomer, Oristano and Cagliari.

Facilities for passengers with special needs

The airport staff offers assistance for the transport of people with reduced mobility around the enclosure, to and from the airplane, and through the security, customs and immigration controls. To that end, you should inform your airline about your needs at the time of booking or at least 48 hours in advance. There are also designated parking spaces in front of the terminal, a special waiting room, tactile paths, adapted toilets, lifts to board or disembark from the aircraft and wheelchairs.
