Izmir airport is open 24 hours a day and is a large place that can accommodate many passengers. It is advisable to have a sleeping mask and earplugs to avoid being disturbed by the lights and noise. The airport is generally safe. However, it is important to be aware of your belongings at all times and keep them safe. Keep your valuables with you and do not leave them unattended.

Where to rest: On the top floor, you can find some comfortable armchairs, while there are plenty of quiet corners to lie down in if you have a sleeping bag. You can also enter one of the VIP lounges, which are open 24 hours a day, although the maximum stay is 3 hours. On the other hand, if you prefer more comfort and privacy, there is a hotel in the international sector and another next to the airport entrance.

Baggage: A left-luggage service operates 24 hours a day in the International Arrivals area.

Eating and drinking: Many of the available eateries within the terminal are open throughout the night. This gives you options to grab a bite to eat or buy basic items if needed.
