General Juan N. Álvarez International Airport, opened in 1945, is one of the most important in Mexico and serves the southwest region of the country. Because of the recreational nature of the city, it also receives some international flights, mainly from the United States and Canada.

Facilities for passengers with special needs
Inside the terminal, there are lifts, escalators, ramps, railings, bannisters, appropriate signage, tactile strips for the visually impaired and reserved parking spaces. Wheelchairs are available by previous request from your airline or travel agency.
