Quito airport (UIO)

Mariscal Sucre International Airport was opened on February 20, 2013, to replace the city's old air station, thus gaining in safety and modernity with one of the longest runways in South America. Together with Guayaquil Airport, it concentrates most of the country's flights, operating destinations throughout the Americas and Europe.

There are 24-hour information counters in the Departures Hall and the Arrivals Hall.

The airport is located in the town of Tababela, 25 km (16 miles) east of Quito's historic center.

Main Parking

The first 15 minutes are free of charge and are used to pick up or drop off passengers.

Hour or fraction thereof: USD2.00.
Maximum daily rate: USD11.00.

Covered Parking

Hour or fraction thereof: USD3.00.
Maximum daily rate: USD15.00.

You must take care of your ticket and remember to cancel it (with credit card) before getting into your vehicle. The payment kiosks are located at the counters in the Arrivals Hall and on the ground floor and level 2 of the Quito Airport Center.

The service includes third-party damage insurance, security cameras and emergency mechanical assistance. There are also two charging points for electric vehicles.

3-24 hours: USD7.00.

Transportation to and from the terminal is included in the ticket.

Facilities for passengers with special needs

Facilities include elevators, access ramps, escalators, adapted toilets and drinking fountains, Braille signage and reserved parking spaces. Notify your airline of your particular needs in advance.
