Singapore Changi Airport, opened on July 1, 1981, is the largest in Southeast Asia and one of the busiest in Asia. It is also considered one of the best in the world. It operates with international flights to numerous destinations throughout the globe.

Number of Terminals - 4 - Terminals 1, 2, 3 and 4, open 24 hours a day. The free Skytrain connects terminals 1, 2 and 3 between 5:00 am and 2:30 am, with 4-minute intervals. Outside these hours there are courtesy shuttles that leave every 15 min. The transit areas are also linked through travellators. Terminal 4 is connected to Terminal 2 through a shuttle service that operates every 10-20 min.

Facilities include elevators, ramps and accessible toilets. Wheelchairs can be requested at the medical centers (Tel +65 6543 1118). Passengers requiring special assistance should inform their airline prior to their travel. Children below 12 years old travelling alone will be escorted by personnel from the corresponding air company.
