Suvarnabhumi Airport, also known as Bangkok Airport and opened on September 28, 2006, is the most important in Thailand and one of the world's busiest and most modern air terminals. It operates with domestic and international flights in Asia, Europe, the Middle East, Oceania and Africa.

The airport is located in the city of Racha Thewa (Bang Phli district, Samut Prakan province), 30 km (18.7 miles) to the east of Bangkok.

Inform your airline about your particular needs prior to your arrival. Facilities inside the enclosure include elevators, adapted toilets and telephones, and reserved parking spaces. Children between 8 and 11 years old travelling alone will be escorted through the necessary procedures by the air company staff.
