Transportation

Sauce Viejo Airport features public transportation options and dedicated shuttle services connecting the air terminal with downtown Santa Fe and the Bus Terminal.

Shuttle Service (AeroBus)

There is a direct transfer service called AeroBus, designed specifically for air passengers. This service connects the Santa Fe Bus Terminal with the airport with no intermediate stops, synchronizing its departures with the commercial flight schedule.

Frequency and Schedule:
Schedules are dynamic and adjust to the Aerolíneas Argentinas flight grid.
To the airport: Units depart from the Bus Terminal approximately 90 minutes before each scheduled flight.
From the airport: The service waits for the flight's arrival and departs for the city once passengers have retrieved their luggage (approx. 30-40 minutes after landing).

Departure Location:
At the Santa Fe Bus Terminal, the service usually operates from platforms 1 and 2. For in-person inquiries, you can go to ticket windows 8 and 18.

Fares and Payment:
The ticket is paid for upon boarding the unit. It is recommended to check the current price at the counter, as it is subject to inflationary adjustments.

Public Transportation (Line C)

The Continental company operates the intercity bus line that passes by the airport, offering an economical alternative to reach the city center and surrounding towns.

Route: Line C "Verde" (Green Flag).
Connects the town of Sauce Viejo with Santa Fe Capital, continuing towards Rincón, Arroyo Leyes, and Los Zapallos. The stop is located on National Route 11, across from the airport entrance.

Payment Method:
The only valid payment method is the SUBE card. Cash is not accepted on board. Make sure you have sufficient balance before leaving the airport, as charging points are not always available in the terminal.

Continental company contact: +54 342 474 7776.

Rent a Car

Vans and Shuttles

Shared and private ("door-to-door") transfer services connect the airport with the city of Santa Fe, Paraná (Entre Ríos), and other locations in the region.

Transfers
This is the main company that absorbed the operation of regional routes (formerly Global Vip). It offers "door-to-door" transfer services connecting the airport with residences in Santa Fe and Paraná. They have a service stand in the arrivals hall to coordinate departures according to flight arrivals.

Taxis and Remises

Individual transport operations at Sauce Viejo are mainly carried out through remises (cars with drivers and pre-set fares), as it is not common to find street taxis circulating freely on the premises.

Official Remises:
The airport has an official remís agency located in the arrivals sector. It is the safest and most direct option, as vehicles are available at the exit of every commercial flight.

City Companies:
Companies from the city of Santa Fe such as Sociedad Radio Taxi, Remises Real, or Isis can enter to pick up passengers, but require prior reservation by phone or app, as they must travel from downtown (approx. 20-30 minutes delay if not booked in advance).

Transportation Tips to/from the airport

Although there are issues that seem more than obvious, it is always advisable to take them into account when moving to or from the airport, and especially if we go by public transport.

1- To the airport - It is convenient to leave with a little more anticipation than what is commonly suggested. If you choose a taxi or a private car service, always take into account peak traffic times, demonstrations, strikes or events that may delay the journey to the airport from where you are. It is always good to be informed about what is happening.

If you contract a shared transfer service, have a contact telephone number handy in case of any delay by the company. In these cases they usually already have a scheduled collection time.

If you use public transport (collective, train) take into account the schedules (weekends and holidays tend to have less frequency), if you have to change and also how to board (if you need a card or paying the driver or motorist at the moment ). These are details that seem obvious, but it is advisable to know so as not to have surprises and suffer a delay that could cause complications.

If you rent a car to get to the airport, check where to leave the vehicle. At some airports, there is an exclusive parking lot for rental cars.

2 -From the airport- Here it is a little less stressful since you don't have the pressure of missing your flight. In the worst case, you will arrive later at the place where you are going to stay or at the meeting point where you are trying to arrive.

Once you leave the plane, look for your suitcase and finish with the arrival procedures that are required. Then, follow the directions for public transportation or ask the airport staff.

It is very useful to find out in advance the schedules of the buses or trains in case you arrive late at night. Not all work 24 hours. The same goes for taxis. In case of using an Uber-type service, have the mobile application handy to contact the driver.

On the other hand, if you booked a private transport service, it is likely that they will have a person waiting for you, identified with a sign. If you rent a car to go from the airport to your final destination, for greater peace of mind it is advisable to book it in advance. Rental counters are usually available in the arrivals hall.
