Sauce Viejo International Airport (SFN) serves the metropolitan area of the city of Santa Fe (capital of the Argentine province of the same name) and the neighboring city of Paraná (Entre Ríos province). Inaugurated on December 9, 1955, it shares with Rosario Airport the status of being one of the most important terminals in the province. During 2025, its strategic relevance increased considerably by absorbing much of the regional demand due to the temporary closure for renovations of the Rosario airport.

Terminal
The airport has a single passenger terminal that has undergone recent renovations to optimize its operations.
Operating Hours: The terminal remains open daily from 7:00 am to 10:00 pm.
Airlines and Destinations: Aerolíneas Argentinas is the main operator, connecting daily with Jorge Newbery Airpark (AEP) in Buenos Aires.
2025 Operational Note: Due to construction at Rosario Airport (ROS), Sauce Viejo increased its frequencies and connectivity during the year to absorb the diverted traffic. The schedule is expected to normalize following the reopening of ROS in late 2025, although authorities aim to sustain the growth in frequencies achieved.
Passenger Traffic: Historically averages 80,000 passengers annually (2024 reference figure). However, 2025 statistics project a year-end total far superior to the historical average, driven by the transfer of operations from the south of the province.
