Phoenix airport (PHX)

Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport, opened in 1928, serves the state of Arizona and is one of the busiest in the country. It operates with domestic and international flights to Mexico, Canada, Costa Rica and Europe.

Number of Terminals - 3 - Terminals 2, 3 (John S. McCain III) and 4 (Barry M. Goldwater), open 24 hours a day. The free Sky Train links the terminals 3 and 4 with each other and the parking lots. Terminals 2 and 3 are connected through a covered walkway.
Annual passenger traffic: 43.9 million passengers went through it in 2017.

The airport is located 4.8 km (3 miles) to the east of the city of Phoenix.

Offices are located in a separate building (Rental Car Center), accessed through shuttles that leave every 5-10 minutes from in front of the baggage reclaim area of each terminal.

Terminal Garages 2, 3 & 4 - Multi-storey car parks next to each terminal, with covered and outdoor spaces. Charging stations for electric vehicles in garages 3 and 4 (levels B and 4, respectively). Valet parking in garage 4.
West Economy Park & Walk - Uncovered area close to Terminal 2.
East Economy Parking - Lot with outdoor and indoor bays, connected to terminals 3 and 4 through the Sky Train.

 

All terminals have ramps, automatic doors, elevators, accessible facilities (telephones, restrooms, drinking fountains, counters). There are also reserved parking spaces and electric carts for people transport.
