Bodø Airport, opened in 1990, is one of the most important in Norway. It operates with numerous domestic flights and some international destinations within Europe.

Bus - Services from Nordland Fylkeskommune (Tel +47 177) leave every 10-15 minutes from outside the main entrance to the city centre, with a trip of 5 min. They operate from 5:40 am to 0:10 am. Line 1: Aspmyra, Aspåsen, Orestad Park, Skeid, Grønnåsen, Jensvoll, Forsveien, Greisdalslia, Bjørndalslia. Line 4: Orestad Park, City Nord, Hunstadkrysset, Mørkved, Tverlandet, Høgåsen. There are also regional services to Fauske, Halsa, Beiarn, Tårnvik, Sortland and Narvik directly from the airport.
Train - Services from Nordlandsbanen (Tel +47 6105 1910) have a final stop in the city of Bodø. The station is located a short distance from the city centre, and local and regional trains depart daily from there to the south of the country, including Mørkved, Fauske, Lønsdal, Mo i Rana, Mosjøen, Majavatn, Harran, Jørstad, Levanger and Trondheim.
Taxi - Cabs from Nordland Taxi (Tel +47 7550) available directly across from the main entrance. Journey time to downtown Bodø is about 5 minutes.
