- Terminal A: South side, accessible via the arrivals-level walkway (Level 1).
- Terminal B: South side, accessible via the arrivals-level walkway (Level 1).
- Terminal C: South side, accessible via the arrivals-level walkway (Level 1).
- Terminals D and E: Passengers should proceed to Terminal C. It can be easily reached on foot from Terminal D or via the underground train (Subway) from Terminal E.
Buses and Shuttles
Public Bus (METRO)
The Metropolitan Transit Authority of Harris County (METRO) operates the METRO Bus 102 route, which connects the airport to downtown Houston. This is a cost-effective option to reach key areas of the city. The stop is located outside the baggage claim level of Terminal C. Regional Shuttles
Private bus and shuttle services connect IAH Airport with nearby cities and regions. These services generally depart from the Ground Transportation area outside Terminal C.
- GroundShuttle: Provides transportation to College Station and Easterwood Field Airport (CLL).
- Galveston Express: Offers shuttle service to the city of Galveston.
Rent a Car
Taxis
Taxis are available at designated ranks outside the arrivals and baggage claim level at most terminals. The airport’s ground transportation staff, available 24/7, assist passengers in getting a cab.
Taxi rank locations:
- Terminal A: South side, outside door A-115.
- Terminal B: South side, outside door B-103.
- Terminal C: South side, outside door C-105.
- Terminal D: Passengers should proceed to the taxi ranks at Terminals C or E.
- Terminal E: West side, outside door E-103.
Fares and payment:
Fares to destinations within the Houston city limits are calculated either by taximeter or by a zone system, with the lowest option for the passenger always applied.
