Assistance Request
To ensure appropriate support, it is essential that you inform your airline or travel agency of your specific needs at least 48 hours in advance of the scheduled departure of your flight. This allows ground and cabin staff to coordinate the necessary resources for your transit through the terminal and the boarding process.
Contact Points: Upon arrival at the airport, you may request assistance via the call points or totems equipped with intercom systems, located at the main terminal entrances and in the designated reserved parking areas.
Facilities and Services

- Physical Accessibility: Ramps, suitably sized lifts, adapted restrooms and tactile pathways (LOGES system) for passengers with visual impairments.
- Signage: Information panels with high contrast and Braille signage at key locations.
- Boarding: Use of ambulifts (vehicles equipped with lifting platforms) to facilitate access for wheelchair users to aircraft not connected via passenger boarding bridges.
Autism Project
The airport takes part in the “Autismo, in viaggio attraverso l'aeroporto” programme, designed to reduce the stress that the airport environment may cause for people on the autism spectrum. This service includes:
- Visual guides: Availability of leaflets and visual materials explaining step by step the check-in, security and boarding processes.
- Family visits: The possibility of requesting a pre-visit to the facilities in order to become familiar with the environment before the day of travel (subject to availability and prior coordination).
Unaccompanied Minors
The escort service for children travelling alone (generally between 4 and 12 years of age) is managed directly by the airlines. Airport staff ensure the care of the minor from the check-in counter to handover to the cabin crew, and vice versa on arriving flights.
