Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport, opened on February 22, 1930, serves the entire area of the city, the state of Michigan and locations in neighbouring states, as it is one of the busiest in the country and the world. It operates with domestic flights and international destinations in Mexico, Canada, the Caribbean, Brazil, Europe, the Middle East and the Far East.

Number of Terminals - 2 - Evans Terminal and McNamara Terminal, open 24 hours a day. A free shuttle bus connects the terminals to each other and the Westin hotel approximately every 10 minutes. The ExpressTram train travels inside McNamara Terminal, from one end to the other.
Annual passenger traffic: 23.6 million passengers went through it in 2021.

Big Blue Deck & McNamara Terminal Parking - Multi-storey facilities located in front of each terminal, with spaces for short and long stays and charging stations for electric vehicles.
Green Lot 1 & 2 - Outdoor areas for long periods.

Facilities include moving walkways, adapted telephones, relief areas for service animals, accessible restrooms and designated parking spaces. Transport services inside the airport are accessible for passengers with reduced mobility. Inform your airline in advance if you should require wheelchairs.
