San Juan airport (SJU)

Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport, opened on May 22, 1955, serves the island of Puerto Rico and is the most important airport in the Caribbean. It operates domestic flights and numerous international destinations in the Caribbean, North America, Panama, Colombia and Spain.

The airport is located in the town of Carolina, 5 km (3 miles) southeast of the city of San Juan.

Parking services at San Juan airport (SJU)

Multi-level parking is available 24 hours a day adjacent to the terminals, with spaces for short and long stays. The first 15 minutes are free of charge. Automatic payment machines are available on levels 1, 2, 3 and 4, in the elevator area.

There is also a free area for momentary parking for up to 45 minutes next to Terminal A. Vehicles should not be left unattended at any time.

Next to Terminal E, there is a long-stay parking area with 24-hour surveillance.

Facilities for passengers with special needs

There are ramps, elevators, vehicles for transporting people with reduced mobility, adapted restrooms and telephones, and reserved parking spaces. Most airlines have a service for unaccompanied minors. Passengers requiring special assistance or wheelchairs are advised to notify their airline of their needs at the time of booking.
