Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport, opened on January 13, 1974, is one of the busiest in the world, as it receives many domestic flight connections in addition to operating flights to various destinations worldwide. Number of Terminals - 5 - Terminals A, B, C, D, and E, open 24 hours.

A sixth terminal (F) is under construction and is expected to be operational in 2027.

There are two free services connecting the terminals: the Skylink train, which operates 24 hours a day within the secure area, with two stations in each terminal and a travel time of 5-9 minutes; and the Terminal Link shuttle bus, outside the secure area, with stops at each terminal, from 5:00 am to 12:00 am. Information desks are located on levels 2 and 3 of all terminals and on level 1 of the car rental center. Information screens in several languages can be found throughout the premises, along with interactive information centers next to the baggage claim areas.
