Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, opened on 16 September 1916, is the main air terminal in the Netherlands. It is also one of the busiest European airports in terms of passengers and cargo. It operates international flights around the world.

Number of Terminals - 1 - Open 24 hours a day. It has three levels: Ground Level (Arrivals and Ground Transportation), Second Level (Boarding and Check-in) and Third Level (food outlets and VIP lounges). Further information

There are numerous information desks on the Arrivals and Departures levels. Visitor Centre in Arrivals Hall 2, available from 7:00 am to 10:00 pm.

The airport is located in the municipality of Haarlemmermeer, 9 km (5.5 miles) southwest of Amsterdam, and is situated next to the A4 motorway, which connects Amsterdam with The Hague and Rotterdam.

Parking services at Amsterdam Schiphol airport (AMS)

Within the grounds, there are several parking areas for short and long stays, with security cameras, number plate recognition, charging stations for electric vehicles and valet parking. Rates and reservations

Kiss & Ride - In front of the Departures Hall, allowing you to stop for a few seconds to drop off passengers at the airport.
P1 - Mostly covered area directly in front of the terminal for short and long stays.
P3 - Multi-level long-stay facility, linked to the main building every 10 minutes by courtesy buses. There is also a cheaper open-air sector.
P6 Valet Parking - Opposite the Arrivals Hall. Reservations at least 8 hours in advance.

Facilities for passengers with special needs

Facilities include reserved parking spaces, accessible counters, elevators, escalators, moving walkways, wheelchairs, adapted toilets, automatic doors, electric vehicles for passenger transport and equipped with a lift to board the aircraft.
