Milan Bergamo Airport (BGY), officially Il Caravaggio International Airport and formerly known as Orio al Serio Airport, was inaugurated on 20 March 1972 and is one of the three airports serving the Lombardy region and the Milan metropolitan area. It operates mainly regular and charter flights to European, North African and Middle Eastern destinations, and is a base for low-cost airlines such as Ryanair.

Terminals
The airport has a single passenger terminal operating 24 hours a day. The departure area closes after the last flight (around 1:00 am) and reopens at 4:00 am.

P3 Smart: Located approximately 1 kilometre from the terminal, it offers both covered and open-air spaces for medium and long stays. A free shuttle bus service takes passengers to the terminal.
