Beirut-Rafic Hariri International Airport, opened on 23 April 1954, is the only operational commercial airport in Lebanon. It is the main entry point to the country, along with the Port of Beirut. It operates flights to destinations in the Middle East, Europe, and the Arab countries of Africa.
