Barcelona (BCN) airport

Barcelona–El Prat Airport has two terminals, Terminal 1 and Terminal 2. Both are open 24 hours a day and are connected by a free shuttle bus service running every 7 to 10 minutes.

You can reach central Barcelona using the metro (L9 Sud, with transfers to other lines), the Rodalies train (R2 Nord line from T2 to Estació de Sants or Passeig de Gràcia), or buses (Aerobús, connecting T1 and T2 with Plaça Catalunya and Plaça d'Espanya, or local buses).

Uber pick-up points are located on the ground floor of Terminal 1 and on level 0 of the Express car parks at Terminal 2. For Cabify, meet your driver on levels 0 and 3 of Terminal 1 and on level 0 of Terminals 2’s A, B, or C concourses.

Yes, the airport offers various parking options, including covered and open-air car parks for short and long stays. Options include Parking Express, General Parking, Preferred Parking, Long-Stay Parking, and VIP Parking. There are also free, unmonitored motorcycle parking areas next to both terminals.

The luggage storage service is available 24 hours a day only at Terminal 1, Level 0. At Terminal 2, it operates from 6:00 to 22:00.

If you have lost a personal belonging, you can go to the Lost & Found Office, located on Level 1 of Terminal 1. Opening hours are Monday to Friday from 8:00 to 20:00 and Saturday from 8:00 to 15:00 (closed on Sundays and public holidays). Yes, the airport has currency exchange offices in both terminals. Additionally, ATMs are available in multiple locations.

Facilities are adapted with reserved parking spaces, lifts, ramps, automatic doors, raised and Braille signage, adapted toilets and telephones, and accessible counters. Staff knowledgeable in sign language and buses equipped for passengers with reduced mobility are also available. Most airlines provide escort services for minors.

Yes, the airport provides free Wi-Fi access throughout its facilities.

Yes, Barcelona Airport remains open 24 hours a day and it is possible to stay overnight. It is recommended to have your passport and tickets at hand in case security personnel request them. Although most seats are uncomfortable, some food outlets may remain open. There are also private rooms in Terminal 1 (Air Rooms) and nearby accommodation with shuttle services.
