Queenstown Airport features exclusive spaces designed for passengers to relax and stay productive before their flight. Both lounges are located on the upper level of the terminal, offering views of the runways and the surrounding mountains.

Air New Zealand Domestic Koru Lounge

This lounge is located on the first floor, in the domestic departures area (accessible after passing through security control). It offers a space with panoramic views of the runway and the The Remarkables mountain range. Opening hours are from one hour before the airline’s first departure until the last scheduled service departs.

Services: Light snack buffet, bar with a selection of local wines and beers, high-speed Wi-Fi, workstations with power outlets, newspapers and television.

Access: Koru Club members, Airpoints Gold or Elite members, Air New Zealand business class passengers and Star Alliance Gold members.

Manaia Lounge

Located on the first floor (Level 1), above gates 8 and 9, in the international departures area. The maximum stay allowed is 3 hours and opening times are aligned with the daily international flight schedule.

Services: A variety of hot and cold dishes, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, computers with internet access, Wi-Fi, television, and a selection of newspapers and magazines.

Access: Priority Pass, LoungeKey, DragonPass, Diners Club and Qantas Club members (including Gold, Platinum and Platinum One), Qantas business class passengers, or by paying an access fee at the entrance (subject to availability).

 Facilities and other services

The airport offers a wide range of services to ensure passengers’ comfort during their time in the terminal, from local dining options to baggage handling facilities.

Finance and Communication

• Wi-Fi: The airport provides 2GB of free wireless internet access throughout the terminal, available every 24 hours.
• Financial Services: ATMs and currency exchange offices from Travelex are available in both arrivals and departures areas.
• Telecommunications: Local SIM cards for tourists can be purchased at One NZ and PaperPlus retail outlets.

Dining

The dining offer includes cafés, bars and restaurants both in the public area (before security control) and in the departure lounges. You can find everything from speciality coffee and artisan chocolates at Patagonia Cafe to full meals and takeaway options at Airspresso and Provenance. Most outlets operate in line with scheduled flight times.

Shopping

The airport features a varied selection of shops. In the international area, Aelia Duty Free offers duty-free products (perfumes, spirits, tobacco). There are also newsagents and bookshops (Paper Plus), technical and outdoor clothing stores, jewellery shops, and gift shops offering typical products from New Zealand and the Otago region.

Baggage

• Luggage Storage and Lockers: Lockers are available outside the terminal, next to the check-in area. A luggage storage service is also available at the information desk.
• Lost Property: If you have lost any belongings within the terminal, you should go to the information desk or complete the online lost property form. For items left on board an aircraft, you must contact your airline directly.

Other Services

• Families: Baby care rooms equipped with changing tables, microwaves and private nursing areas. There is also a children’s play area near the café in the departures area.
• Health and wellbeing: Hydration stations with free filtered water, defibrillators in key locations, and a first aid room.
