Covid-19: Regulations for travel to Honduras

Travelers who have visited high-risk areas within the previous 21 days cannot enter Honduras. There are exceptions for citizens and residents of Honduras, who must remain in quarantine for 14 days upon arrival. You can find a list of 'high risk countries' at https://hn.usembassy.gov/covid-19-information/

Vaccinations and travel rules for vaccinated people

Travelers who present a valid international certificate for full vaccination against COVID-19, using an approved vaccine, are exempt from the testing requirements. The final dose must have been administered at least 14 days before the trip.

It is mandatory to submit medical certificate / proof

Upon departure, proof of a rapid antigen detection test or negative PCR, obtained within the previous 72 hours, must be presented.

Other medical measures

All passengers are subject to health checks (upon arrival and / or departure), such as temperature checks and visual evaluation. Further health tests may be required for those showing symptoms of COVID-19.

Additional documents required

An online 'pre-registration form' must be completed prior to departure. The confirmation email received must be presented on arrival.

 Tips before departing
