Tegucigalpa airport (TGU)

Toncontín International Airport, opened in 1934, is the most important in the country. It currently only operates domestic flights. Due to recent accidents, its geographical position and short runway, it was subordinated to operate with smaller aircraft, and international airlines moved their operations to the recent Palmerola Airport.
