Comayagua international airport (XPL)

Comayagua International Airport, known as Palmerola airport, began its commercial operations on December 11, 2021. It serves both Comayagua and the capital Tegucigalpa and the entire central-southeast area of   the country. It operates with destinations in Latin America and the United States.

The airport provides a free bus service called  Palmerola Connect  that operates between the Comayagua international airport terminal and the Toncontí­n International Airport in Tegucigalpa. The bus has three scheduled departures in the morning from Toncontí­n to Comayagua and three departures in the afternoon in the opposite direction from Comayagua to Toncontí­n.

Taxis are located in the arrivals area and have a fixed rate, determined by the airport entity.
