Sleeping inside or in nearby hotels (NCL)

Possibility to spend the night at Newcastle airport (NCL), if open 24 hours. Services available, places to rest (free resting zones), or look for the list of nearby hotels and vip lounges.

Overnight layover guide. Sleeping facilities in the public zone or boarding area

Due to the current Covid-19 pandemic, all regular services and hours may be subject to change. Thus, if the idea is to spend the night in the public area, consider a plan B in case the stay inside the airport is only allowed for those who are close to boarding.
Spending the night at the airport

Newcastle airport is ample and open 24 hours a day. It is recommended to have a sleeping bag, blankets, mask, earplugs or headphones for a better rest.

Where to rest: The only comfortable couches are located opposite the coffee shops of the Departures area. On the other hand, there are a couple of VIP lounges with more amenities and privacy, although these close at night. In addition, next to the enclosure you can find a hotel.

Eating and drinking: The only option open 24 hours a day is found in the Arrivals Hall.
