Boise Airport, opened on April 26, 1926, is the main air terminal in the state of Idaho. It operates with domestic flights to several destinations inside the country.

The airport is located 5 km (3 miles) to the south of Boise's financial centre.

The airport has ATMs, plugs for electric devices and Wi-Fi access free of charge. There are also business centres in concourses B and C.

Public and private transportation

Ride-sharing

Passengers who have requested services from Lyft or Uber can meet their vehicle at the east end of the upper curb.

Bus

Services from Valley Ride (Tel +1 208 846 8547) and Greyhound (Tel +1 208 343 3681) to Ada and Canyon counties. They depart from the lower level, outside the baggage reclaim area (purple sector). Lines 2, 3 and 4 travel to Main Street Station Mondays through Fridays between 5:35 am and 9:15 pm and Saturdays from 7:25 am to 9:15 pm. The fare is USD1.50.

There are also shuttle companies that travel to different destinations from the blue sector: Sun Valley Express (Tel +1 877 622 8267) to locations in Sun Valley; Salt Lake Express (Tel +1 800 356 9796) serves Burley, Idaho Falls, Jerome, Mountain Home, Twin Falls, Pocatello, Rexburg, Island Park, West Yellowstone, Salt Lake City, Logan.

Taxi

Metered cabs are available outside the baggage reclaim hall, in the black sector. Travel time to the city centre is 10-15 minutes.

Parking services at Boise airport (BOI)

There are several parking areas inside the grounds, open 24 hours a day. There is also a free passenger pick-up zone next to the access road (Cell Phone Waiting Area). West Garage - Multi-storey facility across from the main building. The first level is dedicated to short stays. Charging stations for electric vehicles on the second level.
Central Garage - Covered area for long-term parking, connected to the terminal through a walkway.
Long Term Surface Parking - Uncovered car parks a little further away.
Economy Lot - Available only when the rest of the facilities are full, with shuttle service every 15 minutes.

Facilities for passengers with special needs

Ramps, lifts, adapted restrooms and telephones, Braille signage, relief areas for service animals and reserved parking spaces. Public transport companies have accessible vehicles. Passengers requiring special assistance or wheelchairs should inform their airline about their needs before their arrival.
