Covid-19: Regulations for travel to Netherlands

International travel to the Netherlands is allowed. You need to meet the requirements to ensure entry is allowed.

Vaccinations and travel rules for vaccinated people

Travelers presenting a valid international certificate for full COVID-19 vaccination, using an approved vaccine, are exempt from pre-departure testing requirements. Final dose must have been administered at least 14 days prior to departure, or 28 days if vaccinated with Jansson's single dose vaccine. All vaccines approved by the European Medicines Agency or the World Health Organization are accepted. Full details on accepted vaccinations and certificate requirements can be found HERE

EU COVID digital certificate

Travelers can provide their EU digital certificate on paper or digitally as proof of vaccination, recovery or negative test result. Health documents provided in this way will not require additional verification on arrival. Full details on the EU digital certificate, including how EU residents can access their certificate, can be found HERE

It is mandatory to submit medical certificate / proof

Proof of a negative nucleic acid amplification test (NAAT), taken within the previous 48 hours, must be presented upon departure. Alternatively, a negative rapid test (antigen or PCR) may be presented, taken within 24 hours of departure. Accepted NAAT tests include PCR, RT-PCR, LAMP, TMA, and mPOCT.

Test is done upon arrival

All travelers are advised to get tested for COVID-19 after arrival, even if they are fully vaccinated.

Additional documents required

A "Traveler's Public Health Declaration Form" must be completed prior to departure.
