Lelystad Airport, opened in 1973, is the largest general aviation air terminal in the country. Currently it is under expansion works, and in the near future it is expected to serve as an alternative for Schiphol airport.

Bus - Line 7 from Arriva (Tel +31 800 023 2545) travels between the airport and the city's central station, with stops at Aviodrome, Larserpoort, Palazzo, De Rietlanden, De Hoven and Winkelcentrum Kempenaar. It operates from 7:10 am to 6:10 pm. Tickets have a cost of €2.17 and journey time is 20 minutes.
Bus 148 from Connexxion (Tel +31 900 266 6399) stops at Eendenweg, 5 min. away from the terminal, and heads for Lelystad central station, De Hoven, De Rietlanden, Palazzo, Larserpoort, Natuurpark, Vogelweg, Harderhaven and Harderwijk. The fare is €2.17.
Taxi - Cabs available outside the terminal. Travel time to the city centre is approximately 10 minutes.
