Spending the night inside the airport
Xi'an Xianyang Airport is a large facility with a wide range of services, including shops, restaurants, lounges, and rest areas. If you need to spend the night inside, here are some tips to make your stay more comfortable.
Where to rest: Look for a safe and comfortable spot to spend the night, keeping your belongings close. Some reclining chairs are more comfortable; if you find one, secure it early. An inflatable pillow or a mat can also help if the seating is less comfortable. In Terminals 2 and 3, there are private cabins available for hourly rental, as well as several VIP lounges offering greater comfort. If you prefer a longer rest, there are several hotels nearby, including one within Terminal 3.
Food and Drink: At present, only a few food outlets remain open 24 hours, all located in Terminal 3.
Baggage: The luggage storage counters operate only from 6:00 am to 0:00 am.
Wi-Fi: Access is free and unlimited.
Other services available around the clock: ATMs, baby care facilities.

There are private cabins from Take A Nap, which can be booked by the hour, located near Gate 214 in Terminal 2, Gate 312 in Terminal 3, and in the corridor connecting both terminals. Tips for a long layover
- Check whether you can leave the airport: it depends on your nationality, the visa rules of China and whether your bags are checked through.
- If you sleep airside, you will usually need a boarding pass for a flight that day. Ask your airline before you go through security.
- A lounge with day access can be cheaper than a hotel for a few hours: see VIP lounges at XIY.
- Keep your valuables with you, set an alarm and carry a light layer: terminals are often cold at night.
