Cibao International Airport has two operational VIP lounges in its International Terminal, offering a comfortable and exclusive environment both for passengers arriving in the country and for those waiting for their departing flight.

Turquesa Lounge (Arrivals)

Location: International Terminal, arrivals area. Located immediately after passport control, opposite the elevators.

Hours: Open 24 hours a day, every day of the week.

Maximum stay: 3 hours.

Services: Air conditioning, dedicated children's play area, Wi-Fi internet access, refreshments and snacks, non-alcoholic beverages, a selection of complimentary local alcoholic beverages (rum and local beer), television, newspapers, and facilities for passengers with reduced mobility. Non-smoking area (including electronic cigarettes).

Access conditions: Priority Pass, LoungeKey, DragonPass, and Diners Club members, as well as access by advance reservation or purchase of an individual pass at the entrance, subject to capacity. Children under 3 years old enter free of charge when accompanied by an adult. A valid same-day boarding pass must be presented, and a smart-casual dress code must be observed.

Zafiro Lounge (Departures)

Location: International Terminal, second level, east side of the pre-boarding area (after passing through security screening and passport control), next to the elevators.

Hours: From 6:00 am to 10:40 pm (or until the departure of the last regularly scheduled flight of the day).

Services: Air conditioning, views of the aircraft apron, Wi-Fi access, real-time flight information monitors, snacks and packaged meals, hot and cold beverages, complimentary local rum and beer, charging ports, and wheelchair access. Non-smoking area.

Access conditions: Priority Pass, DragonPass, LoungeKey, and Diners Club members, as well as access by reservation or direct purchase at the counter. Children under 3 years old are admitted free of charge. There is no strict dress code, although access may be temporarily restricted due to capacity limitations.

 Facilities and other services

The airport offers a wide range of commercial, passenger assistance, and financial facilities, located primarily in its International Terminal.

Financial Services and Connectivity

Within the terminal building, you will find banking offices (Banco de Reservas), currency exchange counters, and ATMs operated by the country's main financial institutions (Banreservas, Banco Popular, and Banco Santa Cruz). The terminal offers free Wi-Fi internet access throughout its lounges and waiting areas. In addition, mobile phone service counters are available in the arrivals area, where you can purchase physical SIM cards or sign up for local eSIM plans.

Dining

The terminal's second level features a food court with a variety of options, including local and international restaurants, fast-food outlets, bars, and cafés located both in the public area before security screening and in the pre-boarding area.

Shopping

The second-level departures area features Duty Free stores specializing in premium Dominican cigars and tobacco, rum and aged spirits, perfumes, cosmetics, and traditional sweets. In the common areas, you will also find local handicraft shops, gift stores, clothing, and last-minute travel essentials.

Baggage and Lost and Found

If you lose a personal item in the terminal's corridors, waiting areas, or security checkpoints, you can go to the airport's lost and found office or call +1 809 233 8000 (extensions 8001 and 8018) during daytime administrative hours. If the issue involves checked baggage that was delayed or damaged during the flight, you should contact your airline's ground handling staff directly in the baggage claim area.

Other Services

The airport complex has emergency medical and first-aid services for the primary care of passengers, restrooms equipped with baby-changing tables, and passenger assistance points.
