 Location

The airport is located near the village of El Catey, 8 km (5.0 mi) west of Sánchez, at the base of the mountainous peninsula Cape Samana, and 40 minutes drive to the provincial capital, Santa Barbara de Samaná, and approximately one hour drive to Las Galeras.

Foreign exchange services are available. as weel as ATM cash machines. A vip lounge is available  from 8:30AM to 8:30PM (Daily).in the main Terminal, Airside, 1st Floor, opposite the Duty Free area (offering Air Conditioning, Beverages (alcoholic and non), Internet, Newspapers/Magazines, Television). Access: Priority Pass member or paying 

Food and Drinks - There are a variety of restaurants and coffee shops located both landside and airside. There is a food court located on the 3rd Level.
Shopping - Duty Free is available as well as small selection of others shops including a mini-market.

Other services - A pharmacy can be found on Level 2. There is a smoking lounge in the South Lounge (airside), other than that all smoking must take place outside of the airport.
