Most ground transportation options are concentrated at the Ground Transportation Center (GTC), located on the lower Arrivals level between parking structures A2 and B2, steps from the baggage claim halls.

Ridesharing

App-based ridesharing operators Uber, Lyft, and Wingz pick up travelers on the upper level (top floor/roof) of parking structures A2, B2, and C. Follow the signage from baggage claim and take the elevator up to the parking roof.

Public Buses

The Orange County Transportation Authority (OCTA) operates regular bus route 76 on weekdays (running roughly from 6:00 am to 6:30 pm), connecting the airport to Huntington Beach with stops near commercial areas in Irvine, Santa Ana, and Costa Mesa. The stop is located on the lower Arrivals level outside Terminal B, and standard one-way fares are USD 2.00.

Additionally, the iShuttle service (Route 400A) provides weekday commuter connections between the airport and the Tustin Metrolink Station during morning and afternoon peak hours.

Rail Connections

While there is no rail terminal on airport grounds, passengers can take a brief 10 to 15-minute taxi or bus ride to nearby train stations in Santa Ana (SARTC), Irvine, or Tustin. These hubs offer Metrolink commuter rail services (Orange County Line to Los Angeles and Oceanside) and Amtrak Pacific Surfliner intercity trains (linking San Diego, Los Angeles, Santa Barbara, and San Luis Obispo).

Taxis

Licensed taxicabs (provided by Cabco Yellow and affiliated Orange County taxi fleets) are stationed continuously at the Ground Transportation Center on the lower level. A ride to downtown Santa Ana takes approximately 15 to 20 minutes under typical traffic conditions.

Shared and Private Door-to-Door Shuttles

Various authorized shuttle van companies operate from the lower level of the Ground Transportation Center, offering shared-ride and private transport to local hotels, the Anaheim Convention Center, the Disneyland Resort area, and communities across Orange and Los Angeles counties. Permitted operators include ABC Shuttle, Advance Shuttle, Airway One Shuttle, American Shuttle, Apollo Shuttle, and Shuttle 2000. Prior reservations are strongly advised.
