Louisville Muhammad Ali International Airport, opened on November 15, 1947, serves the metropolitan area of the city of the same name and is one of the busiest in the state of Kentucky. It basically operates with domestic flights.

The airport has ATMs, bank (Mondays through Fridays from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm), mailbox, plugs for electric devices, public telephones and complimentary Wi-Fi access. Public and private transportation

Ride-sharing

Vehicles from Lyft and Uber can be boarded on the west side of the terminal, lower level.

Bus

Route 2 from Transit Authority of River City (TARC) (Tel +1 502 585 1234) runs to the city centre in approximately 30 minutes, between 5:52 am and 9:52 pm (from 6:52 am on weekends and holidays). The fare is USD1.75 and stops include Crittenden, Kentucky Fair and Exposition Center, the University of Louisville, Kentucky Kingdom and JB Speed Art Museum.
