Portland Jetport is situated approximately 10 minutes by road from downtown Portland, with various ground transportation options available.

Taxis

The official Ground Transportation Booth is located directly outside the baggage claim area. Taxi service is available from the first flights in the morning until the last flights at night. Public Buses

Greater Portland METRO (Route 5) provides direct bus service between the Jetport, downtown Portland, and the Maine Mall area in South Portland, offering connections to other city routes and regional commuter lines (ZOOM).

Intercity Rail and Buses

The Portland Transportation Center station, located under 3 miles (5 km) from the airport, provides rail connections via the Amtrak Downeaster line (to Boston) and regional bus service through Concord Coach Lines.

The Jetport complies with ADA standards, offering ramps, elevators between levels, and accessible restrooms. For visually impaired passengers, the facility supports the GoodMaps digital indoor navigation system.
