Overnight Airport Hours

The Portland Jetport terminal building remains open 24 hours a day. However, the TSA security checkpoint closes around 8:45 PM and reopens at 3:30 AM. Passengers staying overnight must remain in the public landside area (ticketing lobby and baggage claim) until the checkpoint reopens in the early morning.

Sleeping Facilities

There are no designated rest zones, sleep pods, or shower facilities inside the terminal. Warm clothing or blankets are recommended, as temperatures cool overnight and landside seating features armrests.

Overnight Amenities

Concessions, cafes, and retail shops close after the evening departure rush and reopen early in the morning. Free Wi-Fi remains active overnight, and security personnel patrol the building around the clock.
