Spending the Night at the Airport

Ontario International Airport remains open 24 hours a day. However, late-night amenities are minimal, making advance preparation important if you have an overnight layover.

Sleeping Areas

Nearly all seating in terminal waiting areas has fixed armrests, preventing travelers from stretching out across chairs. Travelers intending to sleep overnight frequently use carpeted floor areas near quieter gates. Bringing a travel mat, sleeping bag, earplugs, and eye mask is recommended to cope with bright terminal lighting and overnight announcements.

Food & Drink After Hours

Airport restaurants and retail outlets close shortly after the day's final flight departures (typically between 10:00 pm and 11:00 pm) and do not reopen until around 4:30 am. Automated snack vending machines and 24/7 Yo-Kai Express hot ramen/noodle stations represent the only overnight food options.

Luggage and Storage

No luggage lockers or storage services are available within ONT. Passengers must keep all baggage attended at all times.
