Spending the night at the airport
Oakland airport is open 24 hours a day, but passengers wishing to spend the night inside the enclosure will have to remain in the public area once the security checkpoints close at night. Also, keep in mind that you will have to show your boarding ticket to be able to stay.
Where to rest: If you decide to spend the night inside the enclosure, the airport staff will lead you to a special waiting area with couches and comfortable seating with no armrests. Inside Terminal 1, there is a VIP lounge with more amenities, but it closes at night. In the airport surroundings, you will find several hotels that provide shuttle services.
Baggage: There are no luggage storage offices inside this airport.
