S-Bahn München trains (Tel +49 895 589 2665) run every 10 minutes between 4:04 am and 1:44 am to the city centre from the two airport stations. Travel time to downtown Munich is approximately 40 min.
Line S1 travels to Ostbahnhof/Munich East and the central station, where services to other locations in the region can be boarded. Other stops include Neufahrn, Moosach, Laim, Karlsplatz and Marienplatz.
Line S8 connects the airport with Johanneskirchen, Ostbahnhof/Munich East, Isartor, Marienplatz, Karlsplatz, Laim and Pasing.
In addition, the UFEX Airport express train connects the airport directly to the cities of Regensburg, Landshut, Moosburg and Freising from EUR 17.90.

Car sharing is a great option for those who like to drive but don't need a vehicle 24 hours a day. Several providers offer this service at the airport from the P20 car park, just 3 minutes from Terminal 2, through their apps: CarVia, MILES, SHARE NOW, Sixt Share, Wheego.
