Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport (MKE), opened in 1941, is Wisconsin’s largest commercial airport and a convenient alternative to Chicago’s hubs. It serves the Milwaukee metro area and the southern part of the state with a solid network of domestic flights and international connections to vacation destinations in Mexico and the Caribbean.

Terminals
The airport features a 24-hour Main Passenger Terminal connected landside to two boarding concourses: Concourse C (gates C9 to C25) and Concourse D (gates D27 to D56). There is no airside connection between them, so passengers changing concourses must clear security again. International flights requiring customs clearance arrive at a separate International Arrivals Terminal. Former Concourse E remains out of service for redevelopment.

- Parking Garage: multi-level structure connected to the terminal by covered pedestrian skywalks. Features EV charging stations and dedicated hourly/daily short-stay sections on levels 3 and 4.
- Surface Lot: outdoor lot immediately south of the parking garage within short walking distance of the terminal.
- Saver Parking: remote economy parking serviced by continuous 24/7 free shuttles every 5 to 10 minutes.
- Amtrak Station Parking: dedicated lot located at 5601 S. 6th Street adjacent to the airport rail station.
Important Considerations
- Grace Period: free parking for the first 30 minutes in both the garage and surface lot.
- Cell Phone Lot: free 30-minute waiting area for drivers picking up arriving passengers, located directly south of the main garage.
- Motorcycles and Bicycles: designated free parking area located across from baggage claim Door 4.
