Miami (MIA) airport

Yes. The terminals remain open 24 hours a day. However, some airside areas close overnight, so if you wish to remain in the secure area, make sure you enter before it closes. Bringing an eye mask and earplugs is recommended, as the airport remains noisy throughout the night. During weather-related cancellations, airport staff may provide cots, although availability is not guaranteed.

Official yellow taxis are available on the lower level (Arrivals), outside the baggage claim areas. Rideshare services such as Uber and Lyft pick up passengers on the Arrivals level (Level 1) or Departures level (Level 2) in designated "Ride App Pickup" areas. Avoid unauthorized solicitors inside the terminal and use only the official pickup locations.

The fastest option is the Orange Line of the Metrorail, which connects the airport with Downtown Miami (Government Center Station) in approximately 15–20 minutes. Access to the station is provided by the free MIA Mover train from the terminals. The fare is USD 2.25. Several Metrobus routes also serve the Miami Intermodal Center.

Yes. The airport provides free access to the "MIA-WiFi" network with advertisements. Standard (USD 4.95) and Premium (USD 7.95) paid options are also available for faster and more reliable connections. The free service may be slow or unstable, so the Premium option is recommended if you need a dependable connection.

Yes. The left luggage facility is located on Level 2 of Concourse E and operates from 5:00 am to 9:00 pm. Rates start at USD 10.00, depending on the size of the luggage.

If your checked baggage does not arrive, contact your airline directly. For personal items lost within the airport, the Lost & Found office is located on the fourth floor of the North Terminal and is open from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm.

Yes. Currency exchange counters are available from 5:00 am to 11:00 pm at several locations throughout the terminals. In general, it is recommended to avoid airport exchange offices because of their less favorable exchange rates and fees, and instead use the ATMs available in every concourse and terminal level.

Yes. Dunkin' (Concourse F) and Subway (Concourse E) are open 24 hours a day. Most other restaurants close around 10:00–11:00 pm and reopen at approximately 5:00 am.

The main parking garages (Dolphin, Flamingo, and Ibis) charge USD 2.00 every 20 minutes, with a daily maximum of USD 25.00 after 4 hours. The Economy Park & Ride lot costs USD 12.00 per day and offers complimentary shuttle service to the terminals every 15 minutes. The Cell Phone Waiting Lot is free for drivers picking up passengers and has space for 60 vehicles.

Yes. The airport features ramps, elevators, accessible restrooms, and moving walkways. Wheelchair assistance should be requested through your airline at least 48 hours before your flight. Vehicles displaying a disability parking permit are entitled to 2 hours of free parking in the main garages. There are also sensory rooms in Concourses D and H/J, as well as the free Aira service for passengers with visual impairments.
