The airport is situated about 10 to 15 minutes by car from downtown Little Rock, offering multiple convenient ground transportation options.

Ridesharing and Car-Sharing

Uber and Lyft vehicles pick up passengers adjacent to the entrance of the Parking Deck garage, accessed by exiting through Door F of the terminal. Peer-to-peer car rental is also available via Turo.

Public Transit and Shuttles

Rock Region Metro's on-demand METRO Connect service connects the terminal with Hanger Hill, the River Cities Travel Center, the Amazon Campus, and intermediate points. It operates Monday through Friday from 5:00 am to 8:00 pm, and weekends from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with a standard fare of USD 1.35.

In addition, door-to-door shuttle and executive private car services with advance booking are provided by operators such as InterCity Transportation, Joel Enterprises, and Journey On Chauffeur Service.

Both public transit vehicles and door-to-door shuttles board at the curb outside Exit D, next to Baggage Claim Carousel 3.

Taxis and Chauffeur Services

The official taxi rank and executive car pick-up point is situated on the outer drive outside Exit H, at the western end of the baggage claim area (near Carousel 1). Licensed operators on site include WNP Executive Car Service, RyanoRide, and zTrip. The journey to central Little Rock takes approximately 10 to 15 minutes depending on traffic.

Tips for getting to and from LIT

Going to the airport

  1. Leave earlier than you think you need to: Little Rock airport is 6 km from Little Rock. Allow for rush-hour traffic, strikes or events, and check the local news before you go.
  2. On public transportation, check the schedule (weekends and holidays usually have fewer services), whether you need to change lines and how to pay: transit card, contactless or cash.
  3. If you booked a shared shuttle, keep the company's phone number at hand in case the pickup is late.
