Spending the Night at the Airport

Although Little Rock Airport remains open 24 hours a day, the secure airside concourse and gate areas are typically closed after the last arriving flight (around 1:30 am or 2:00 am) until the TSA checkpoint reopens at 4:00 am. Consequently, passengers staying overnight must remain in the landside public areas of the terminal.

Rest and Sleeping Areas

Seating in the public area consists primarily of individual seats with armrests and rigid chairs. A few cushioned benches can be found near the security checkpoint and on the upper floor, though they are limited in length. If an overnight stay is inevitable, it is advisable to bring an inflatable mat, travel blanket, or sleeping bag, along with warm layers, as nighttime air conditioning can be quite cold.
