Leeds Airport offers exclusive and comfortable spaces located in the departures area of the terminal, after the security check, ideal for working or relaxing before your flight.

The Avro Lounge

Located on the upper level of the departure area, between gates 8 and 9, this lounge offers a panoramic view of the runway and a welcoming atmosphere for all types of travellers. Its services include:

• Food and Drinks: A selection of sweet and savoury snacks, pastries, coffee, tea, soft drinks and a variety of alcoholic beverages (wines, beers and spirits).
• Connectivity: Free high-speed Wi-Fi access, charging stations for electronic devices and flight information screens.
• Conditions: Maximum stay is 3 hours. Smart-casual dress is required (excessive sportswear or stag and hen party attire is not permitted).
• Access: Via Priority Pass, LoungeKey, DragonPass, Diners Club memberships or by booking directly on the official website. Pay-on-the-door entry is also available subject to availability.

Six Eight One Lounge

This is the airport’s most exclusive offering, next to gates 4–5, designed to provide a premium experience focused on local Yorkshire products and a quieter atmosphere.

• Exclusive Services: High-quality hot and cold food menu, selection of local spirits, craft beers and carefully chosen wines.
• Facilities: Relaxation area with designer furnishings, premium Wi-Fi and personalised service.
• Access: Generally available by prior reservation or paid entry. This lounge is aimed at passengers seeking greater privacy and a superior dining experience.

Important note: Both lounges usually operate from 4:00 am until the departure of the last scheduled flight. It is recommended to check availability and book in advance, especially during the summer months and holiday periods.

Finance and Connectivity

The airport provides cash machines and Travelex currency exchange offices located in both the public area and the departures zone. To help you stay connected, the terminal offers free Wi-Fi access.

Food and Drink

The selection is varied and mostly concentrated after the security check. You will find cafés and bakeries such as Starbucks and Greggs, fast food options like Burger King, and bars with full menus such as Tap & Brew and Cabin Bar. In the arrivals hall (public area) there is also a café available for passengers and visitors.

Shopping and Duty-Free

The World Duty Free shop is located in the boarding area and offers tax-free perfumes, cosmetics, spirits and tobacco. In addition, the airport has WHSmith branches for books and magazines, Boots for health and pharmacy items, as well as accessories and fashion shops.

Baggage Services

• Baggage Trolleys: Available in the car parks and in the arrivals hall. They generally require a £1 or €1 deposit.
• Lost Property: If you have lost any belongings in the terminal, you should contact the customer service team via the official online form or send an email to [email protected].

Other Services

The airport provides a multi-faith prayer room open 24 hours a day, nursing and baby changing rooms located throughout the terminal, and a designated smoking area situated in the departures area (access subject to a small fee). An entertainment area with video game machines (Game Grid) is also available.
