Foz do Iguaçu Airport offers several transportation options connecting the terminal with the city center, the hotel area along Avenida das Cataratas, and the border crossings into Argentina and Paraguay.

Ridesharing Apps

Uber and 99 operate regularly at the airport. They are among the most affordable and convenient options for direct transfers to the city center or nearby hotels.

Location: The passenger pickup point is located on the sidewalk outside the arrivals area. It is recommended to request the vehicle after collecting your luggage and follow the instructions provided by the app.

Public Buses

The urban public transportation system is operated by the Foztrans consortium. The bus stop is located outside the terminal, at the far right end of the building, and is clearly marked.

Route 120: Parque Nacional / Aeroporto / TTU
This is the route most commonly used by travelers. It connects the airport with the Terminal de Transporte Urbano (TTU) in the city center in one direction, and with the Visitor Center of Iguaçu National Park (Iguazu Falls) in the opposite direction.

• Schedule: Service operates approximately from 5:00 am to 12:30 am.
• Frequency: Buses run every 20–30 minutes during the day, with reduced frequency at night and on weekends.
• Payment: Fares can be paid in cash directly to the driver (in Brazilian reais) or using the local "Cartão Único" transit card.

Private and Tourist Transfers

Shared and private transfer services connect the airport not only with Foz do Iguaçu, but also with Puerto Iguazú (Argentina) and Ciudad del Este (Paraguay). These services are ideal for groups or travelers who prefer to avoid waiting at immigration checkpoints when using regular buses.

Taxis

Taxi service is available 24 hours a day and is operated by authorized cooperatives. Taxis are located on the ground-floor departure curb, immediately after the baggage claim area.

Operators: The main service is provided by Coopertaxi Cataratas. There is a service desk in the arrivals hall where passengers can inquire about fixed or estimated fares to different areas of the city and local hotels.

Travel Time: The trip to downtown Foz do Iguaçu usually takes between 15 and 20 minutes. If the destination is Puerto Iguazú, total travel time will depend on traffic on the international bridge and waiting times at customs.
